Job description:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist with the assembly, production, inspection, and packaging of industrial products while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and has experience using precision measuring instruments.
Shift: 1st: 5 am - 3:30 pm
2nd: 3:30 pm - 1 am
Pay: $17.63 - $18.95 per hour
Essential Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions and ensure quality specifications are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
- Perform quality inspections and accurately record measurements.
- Package completed products for shipment and prepare materials for delivery.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production facility.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Identify production issues and communicate concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist with other production and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience required.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools is required.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements and manufacturing specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
