Company Description
As the Procurement Coordinator, you will:
- Prepare and process purchase orders; track requisitions and contracts.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
- Identify suppliers through market research, trade events, and databases; assess quality, reliability, and pricing.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks; develop risk mitigation procedures.
- Perform buying duties when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service on demand. Immediate and continual communication with the customer is expected throughout.
- Interact with customers in providing information to organizations concerning products, services, and process documentation.
- At all times perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.
What youll need:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3+ years of purchasing / procurement experience
- Experience with Deltek, Costpoint, or Cognos preferred
- $25/hr
