Description
Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or similar with 2 years of relevantexperience (Electromechanical assembly - Soldering only is not applicable as relevant experience)
High School degree will only be considered with 5+ years of relevant experience (assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components - Soldering is not considered relevant experience)
- Have actual experience in the responsibilities listed- Ability or willingness to work in non-ergonomic working position (not usually - not more than 10% of the time)

Description:
- We are searching for a mechanical or electrical engineering technician to perform a wide variety of assembling, testing, and packaging tasks.
- The candidate will be responsible for completing several of the production-related tasks that enable our team to deliver these solutions to our customers in a timely manner. This position is contracted to run through the end of 2026.
- However, if the candidate performs well and shows a desire to grow their skillsets within the team, the opportunity may exist for the contract to be extended into 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assembling and testing complex devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components
- Building cable harnesses and other electrical assemblies- Assembling complex kits using custom packaging
- Working with engineers to help manage the inventory for several high-demand products- Assisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sites
- Assisting with set-up and tear-down of large automation systemsKey Attributes for Success

- Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow a wiring schematic
- Experience crimping connectors, soldering, drilling, and tapping
