Quality Control Inspector - Core Personnel Staffing
Department: Production / Quality Control Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Pay: $22/hr
Job Summary
Core Personnel Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector on behalf of our client. This role inspects parts, components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and industry quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect materials and finished products for conformance to specifications
- Identify, document, and report defects and non-conformances
- Read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications
- Use hand tools and measurement devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers) for dimensional accuracy
- Maintain inspection records and support corrective action efforts
- Follow all safety, PPE, and OSHA procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of QC experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read mechanical/wiring drawings and identify defects
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs
- English proficiency, oral and written
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of QC manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with relevant industry-specific equipment or processes
