Pay: $67,000-$83,000/year

Shift: 2nd Shift 12:00 PM start

Location: Monroe, WI

About the Role

We're looking for a Production Supervisor to lead second-shift operations in a food manufacturing environment. This position will oversee production employees, coordinate daily workflow, and ensure safety, quality, food safety, and production goals are consistently met.

Job Responsibilities

Lead, schedule, and provide daily direction to production employees
Monitor production activities to ensure output, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved
Oversee processing and packaging operations, including equipment performance and sanitation
Coordinate production schedules, materials, ingredients, and packaging to meet customer demand
Identify equipment issues and coordinate timely maintenance and repairs
Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, cost, and overall plant performance
Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety requirements
Coach, train, and develop employees while providing ongoing performance feedback
Support employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
Conduct shift meetings and maintain clear communication across the production team
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, HR, and other departments to resolve operational issues
Maintain accurate timekeeping and other required production and employee documentation

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably within food or beverage manufacturing
Previous supervisory, team lead, or demonstrated manufacturing leadership experience
Understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, and equipment operations
Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, quality, and workplace safety practices
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage production priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to coach employees and hold teams accountable for performance and safety

Preferred Experience

Food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing
Dairy processing operations such as pasteurization, separation, mixing, filling, or packaging
Continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
Production scheduling and material coordination
Union manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in a related field
